I recently had the pleasure of joining Tyler Wood and David Lundgren on the official CMT Association podcast, Fill the Gap. It was a fantastic opportunity to sit down with two hosts who deeply understand the nuances of technical analysis and market dynamics.
In this episode, we took a trip down memory lane to the early 2000s, revisiting the origins of Relative Rotation Graphs® (RRG®) and how a basic concept evolved into the visualization tool that is used by many investors on some of the largest platforms worldwide today.
We dug into the “aha” moments that brought RRG to life and discussed why identifying what to remove from a portfolio is often just as critical as finding the next winner.
Beyond the technical tools, we also touched on my personal journey to finally becoming a CMT charterholder, and how sometimes you need a little, or a not-so-little public “nudge” to finish something you started a lifetime ago. It was a candid discussion about the discipline, the CMTA community, and the evolution of market analysis.
